Let's Return to Simon

Now we shall return to question of Simon, who is certainly the most enigmatic of our dramatis personae.

Simon was feeling upset about something a few weeks ago, and he told me that the thoughts of worry, anxiety and anger that were visited upon him manifested themselves in a physical way. He was tired and withdrawn. He slept restlessly that night, yet the next morning he slept in and was barely able to drag himself from bed. He felt groggy and vaguely ill all morning. As Simon put it, "It was as if I had to work to become myself again. It took an effort to regain the feelings of balance and control that I associate with "being myself."

It is our opinion that our poor Simon would do well to think about himself a bit less, and make an effort to reach beyond the confines of his busy, worrisome little mind.
